Anna Nicole Smith’s baby, Dannielynn Hope Mitchell Stern’s DNA tests become public today…the world holds it breath for little Danneilynn…

DNA results will be revealed Tuesday in the Anna Nicole Smith paternity case, and the former Playboy Playmate’s companion Howard K. Stern will not stand in her ex-boyfriend Larry Birkhead’s way if tests show Birkhead is the father of Smith’s baby, TMZ is reporting

“If Larry Birkhead is confirmed to be Dannielynn’s biological father, Howard will not challenge custody. His love Anna Nicole Smith will not change, irrespective of the results. Howard will act in Dannielynn’s best interest, because he loves her and would want a smooth transition to protect her, as she is deeply bonded to those who have been with her since birth,” sources told TMZ.

“While Howard continues to believe and hope that he is Dannielynn’s biological father, he wants to be involved in her life, regardless of paternity. He wants to share the memories of her mother as the person who knew Anna Nicole Smith best and all she wanted for Dannielynn,” the sources continued.

The sources also said that Stern would “do whatever is necessary to assist Larry Birkhead to defeat any effort by Virgie Arthur to obtain custody of Dannielynn,” referring to Anna Nicole Smith’s estranged mother.

Meanwhile, Stern has hired a lawyer who said Monday he may sue media Stern believes are implicating him in the overdose deaths of Smith and her son.

Anna Nicole Smith, a former reality TV star, died Feb. 8 after being found in a Florida hotel room.

A medical examiner ruled Anna Nicole Smith died of an accidental overdose of sleeping medication and at least eight other prescription drugs, along with a case of the flu and a bacterial infection from injecting drugs into her buttocks. Most of the drugs were prescribed in Stern’s name, the medical examiner found.

The release of the medical examiner’s report marked the end of a police investigation in Florida.

“The medical examiner concluded that the death of Anna Nicole Smith was accidental. No one has produced any evidence to rebut this conclusion because no such evidence exists,” said Wood, who represented John and Patsy Ramsey after the death of their daughter, child beauty queen, JonBenet.

Daniel Smith, the model’s 20-year-old son, died Sept. 10 as he visited his mother, Anna Nicole Smith three days after Anna Nicole Smith gave birth in a Bahamian hospital to her daughter, Dannielynn. Daniel Smith’s death was ruled an overdose, but an inquest into whether it was accidental has been put on hold.
